ARE THEY ODORLESS ETHANOL FIREPLACES?

The bioethanol fireplace when it works properly and is built according to the appropriate specifications should not smell while operating. If you notice that it smells during combustion, check if there is any condition that you will read below:

1) The fireplace bioethanol needs not only fuel but a small amount of oxygen to perform perfect combustion. If our fireplace does not get enough oxygen, bioethanol evaporates unburned and therefore our fireplace may give off an odor during its operation. The reason that a fireplace may not pass sufficient oxygen is

a) If something prevents our fireplace from getting oxygen we remove it. Eg Not suitable Glass protectors or fences placed in front of our fireplace.

 b) Decorative wood or pebbles should be placed around the flame and not on the burner hole where the flame comes out so as not to obstruct the flame coming out and supply oxygen to the burner. In addition, the decorations may have dust or residues from other substances that when burned give off an odor in the room

c) The smaller the space or the more people are in a space where our fireplace is located, the more often the space must be properly ventilated so that there is sufficient oxygen. For example, if there are enough people in a small space and the space is not ventilated, the adequacy of oxygen for our fireplace is reduced.

An important indication that our fireplace has a problem of oxygen adequacy is the color of the flame. Blue flame during combustion means lack of oxygen for proper combustion of bioethanol. (On or off, it is normal for the flame to be slightly blue.)

d) It is not appropriate to operate a parallel air conditioner or other heating appliances in the same rook where our fireplace is located. As its smooth operation is hindered.

2) It is important to see the quality of the combustion chamber. Some improvised combustion chambers may have odor problems due to errors in their design study.

3) Fuel quality. Bioethanol is available in the market in various qualities depending on the production-distribution company, its distillation, its ingredients and the proportion of denaturants. There are fuels that have undergone a secondary cleaning treatment (correction process) and excel in quality especially when it comes to internal combustion, such fuel is Bionlov fuel that we exclusively import and supply to the domestic market. 4) Our fireplace chamber must be cleaned regularly so that dust or other impurities do not affect the combustion of bioethanol. Cleaning is done without chemicals in the area of the combustion tank. If you remove the tile wool can be cleaned internally with water and then dry it well with a dry cloth.
